In accordance with the Constitution of the Nemenhah People, Nemenhah Citizens are those that:
Further, in accordance with the Treaty of Royal Maya, fully registered Nemenhah Citizens, who have demonstrated their sincere commitment and dedication to the Sahaptan Healing Way, and who receive the official recommendation of the Office of the Nehm Tiwehkthihmpt, shall be eligible to apply for Naturalization as a Citizen of the Federation of Royal Maya, with all the legal and spiritual benefits such dual citizenship entails.
TO REGISTER FOR CITIZENSHIP
FOR ACTIVE NEMENHAH MEMBERS:
Those individuals who have received their Member Certificate and seek to reinstate their Nemenhah Citizenship, and who have completed the UCNM, or are currently enrolled:
Children and minors under the care of a registered Nemenhah Citizen are automatically considered Youth Citizens of the Nemenhah ITO by the Office of the Nehm Tiwehkthihmpt until they have attained the Age of Agency.
If you are the parent or legal guardian of one or more minors in your household and wish to register said minors with the Office of the Nehm Tiwehkthihmpt and obtain documentation of same, please contact the Office of the Nehm Tiwehkthihmpt directly for further instructions.
FOR INACTIVE NEMENHAH MEMBERS:
Those individuals who have received their Member Certificate and seek to reinstate their Nemenhah Citizenship, but who have not enrolled in the UCNM, must please complete the following:
You will receive an email invitation from the University of Nemenhah, granting you access to our Student Portal for your completion of the UCNM. Upon completion of the UCNM, you will receive new identification documents as a Citizen and Minister of the Nemenhah ITO.
FAILURE TO RE-INSTATE:
Those extant "Ministers," "Members," "Medicine Men," "Medicine Women," and/or "Traditional Spiritual Leaders" who do not meet the above requirements, or are not actively engaged in re-instating their active status (e.g. currently enrolled in the UCNM), automatically abrogate their claim upon the lineage and privileges of Spiritual Adoption in absentia. These members' status shall be relegated to that of "Inactive Tiheht/Supplicant" and re-filed accordingly.
NEMENHAH CULTURAL ORIENTATION
To qualify for Citizenship in the Nemenhah ITO, certifiable completion of the UCNM is obligatory as the required Cultural Orientation for Nemenhah Citizens prescribed by the Tehk Tiwehkthihmpt.
